I was proud to rise in the House of Commons to recognize Aiden Anderson from London West, whose wish from the Make-A-Wish Foundation was to be Prime Minister for the Day.
This November marks the 9th annual London Abused Women's Centre's Shine the Light Campaign. In support of this important cause, I rose in the House to bring further awareness to working together towards a culture of non-violence and respect for women and girls.
I was proud announce to Members of the House of Commons that the first meetings of the Canada Post Accessibility Advisory Panel are now underway as we strive to implement an enhanced accessible delivery program, making it easier for Canadians to access their mail.
I was proud to stand before the House and speak in recognition of the 80th anniversary of London's-own Turner Drug Store, and the important role small businesses play in cities and communities across Canada.
On Wednesday, November 24th, I rose in the House of Commons to recognize this day as the first Brain Cancer Awareness Day in Canada, as well as highlight the hard work of those working with the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
